MetSoP helps mining operations improve mineral recovery and solve processing challenges. We combine specialist reagents with metallurgical testing, analytical services, mineralogy and technical support to develop solutions suited to each ore and plant.
Founded in 2019 by experienced metallurgists, we work from laboratory investigation through to plant trials and ongoing optimisation.
Every Operation Has Its Own Fingerprint
Ore characteristics, water quality and operating conditions can all affect how a plant performs. That is why we start by understanding the specific challenge before recommending a reagent or process change.
Our team uses test results and plant data to identify what is affecting recovery, concentrate quality or reagent performance. We then develop a practical response that can be tested and refined under real operating conditions.
Reagents Backed by Metallurgical Insight
Reagents are central to what we do. We develop and supply flotation and mineral processing chemicals, including collectors, frothers, depressants, modifiers, flocculants and leaching chemicals.
Our approach goes beyond supplying a product. By understanding how an ore responds, we can recommend or develop a reagent strategy that supports the plant’s performance goals.

From the Laboratory to the Plant
A project may begin with a sample, a test work programme or a plant performance concern. We investigate the challenge, evaluate possible solutions and help clients put the findings into practice.
Where needed, our metallurgists support plant trials, implementation and further optimisation. The goal is to turn sound technical work into measurable improvements in recovery, grade or operating efficiency.
